Born in Puerto Rico 🇵🇷, raised in Miami 🌴, and aged in Austin🤘... the father of 2 girls, husband, and dog owner. I've been a technologist for most of my life, while photography has been my creative escape for over 20 years. I've worked as a travel, street, family, and pet photographer. We started Nabla Photography in July 2020 during the pandemic, thinking it would be over soon. Many things have changed since then, including my growing work with dancers.

It all began with my grandmothers.
The last time I saw my maternal grandmother was on my wedding day, over 10 years ago. Not long after that, she lost her battle with cancer. Although I was into photography, I was not in the photography business then. I've always regretted not taking a good portrait of her when I had the chance.
Fast forward to 2019, and I visited Puerto Rico on business. Still, with my regret in mind, I was determined to take a portrait of my paternal grandmother, who suffers from Alzheimer, among other health issues, and is nearing 100 years of age. It almost didn't happen as the morning I was going to visit, she woke up ill, and they had to take her by ambulance to the hospital, where she stayed overnight. Thankfully, I had one extra day of buffer and finally got to visit. She was bedridden, but this is one of the photos I'm most proud of. That's when I realized the value of photographing the ones we love the most to remind us of them and celebrate them.
I founded Nabla Photography to help you in this quest by creating together an heirloom that can be celebrated today and last generations.
