Session Overview

During the session, my job will be to provide an atmosphere that allows your mastery of movement to be displayed. We'll work on each image, finding your best lines, lighting, and camera angles to show them off.

A typical audition package includes three photos, a headshot, an arabesque (for ballet), and a third pose. Some auditions require up to 4 poses and a headshot.

  • Typically, 30 - 60 minutes, depending on the number of photos you need.

    • Pricing for the audition session starts at $195 for three shots.

    • Additional images can be added for $75 each.

  • We use a neutral-colored backdrop or wall (typically white) and flooring to highlight just you and your craft.

  • I will have my camera tethered to a monitor where we can see each photo and promptly decide what is working and what we can do to make your audition photos even better. Together, we will review the portraits at the end of your session so you can select your favorite images.

  • We will do skin and hair retouching on the headshot.

    Due to the integrity needed in dance audition photos, we will not alter any pixel part of a dancer's body or wardrobe on the full-body shots.

  • The selected images will be delivered through a digital gallery within five days of the photo shoot.

    In the gallery, you’ll have the option to download and buy optional prints or additional photos.

  • We partner with a Royal Academy certified instructor, who could virtually guide the photo shoot.

    $75

  • Prints can be ordered upfront for expedited delivery or from the digital gallery after delivery.

    We recommend ordering our Audition Print option if you need prints to be submitted for the audition.
